I want to recognize a security officer at the Whole Foods in downtown Newark named Quasi. Every time I visit this location, he is consistently professional, courteous, and respectful. He creates an atmosphere where customers feel genuinely safe while also treating everyone with dignity. He has a calm but commanding presence that naturally puts people at ease. What stands out most is the way he handles difficult situations. He doesn’t rely on intimidation or aggression. Instead, he communicates with people respectfully, de-escalates conflicts, and maintains order through professionalism. At the same time, it’s obvious that he takes protecting the employees, customers, and the store seriously. He has earned the kind of respect that can’t be forced. After thanking him for the job he does, I asked if I could leave him a positive review. His response was, “Please don’t. I do this for the people.” Ironically, that’s exactly why I felt compelled to write one anyway. That simple statement reflected humility, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving others rather than seeking recognition. Employees like Quasi are a tremendous asset to Whole Foods. They shape how customers feel abo

Was picking up a Too good to go speciality foods order and the guy at the counter was super rude. Made super strange faces even when I told him about the 4 blocks of cheese they gave me that were ON their best by/expiry date.

The store is very big, clean, and well organized, and I really liked the overall experience. They offer a great selection of organic and high-quality products, and some of the items are really good. However, the prices are definitely high, and that’s a big factor. Because of that, I personally wouldn’t go back to shop in person often. I would rather order through Amazon Prime, since it’s more convenient—you can see all the products, compare prices, and get everything delivered right to your door. I also tried their hot food section, and it was really good. I had salmon with mashed potatoes and string beans, and the flavor was great. The only issue was that the salmon was too spicy, so I would suggest toning down the seasoning a bit. Overall, it’s a nice store with great quality, just a bit expensive.

UPDATE 3-18-26: I bought strawberries and so you know im not making this up I posted a copy of the receipt. I washed these strawberries with cold water and baking soda... What are all these black spots on the strawberries??? These are suppose to be organic and it's not the first time I washed strawberries with baking soda so what's up with this because they were red when I carried them out the store. Literally all of then have black spots. I'm over going to supermarkets. Time to go directly to farms or grow your own. I wish there were amish farms around. _______________ This is after a couple days. These tomatoes and cucumber are organic. Produce should not look like this that soon. I don't like wasting money. I should have taken a picture of the avocados, which was worse with mold. I never experience produce go this bad as a child. I shop here all the time, well whole foods in general, this is not the first time I experienced this. MoMs Organic Produce is a better store for groceries

A good place to get all kinds of organic food especially fruits and vegetables. There are also various types of cakes, breads, pastries and ready-made food. I often come here because this place is close to where I live. The cooked food looks tempting but I can only see it because it is not 'halal' for Muslims to eat. It would be great if they also sell halal ready-made food.
